Convenience Stores in Kagawa, Japan

Food, ATMs, Restrooms, Small Items

It can feel like there are convenience stores on every corner in Japan, and the major cities in Kagawa are no exception. When traveling in Takamatsu or Marugame, it will be easy for you to find a convenience store to buy snacks, candy, hot and cold drinks, frozen treats, magazines, small personal items, and fresh meals like salads, noodles, fried foods, sandwiches, pastries and onigiri (rice balls). This is also a good time to use the ATM inside to replenish your yen. Since 7-Eleven tends to have the best ATMs, with the lowest use-fees (200 yen) and the highest per-transaction withdrawal limit (100,000 yen), we've identified them on the map below with ATM symbols. The other convenience stores (which generally also have ATMs) are shown with fast-food symbols.

7-Elevens are also known for having pretty good food, especially their fresh food items (both hot and cold), so if you need a bite to eat and want something quick and/or inexpensive, 7-Eleven should have you covered.

Last note, it's common for convenience stores in Japan to have freely available restrooms for customers. Sometimes you may encounter a small convenience store with no public restroom, but that's the exception rather than the rule, and the restrooms are generally very clean and well maintained. For the purposes of this map, we've also included some of Tokushima prefecture, as some Kagawa visitors may want to see the town of Naruto too. Note: The map below is not an exhaustive list of Kagawa convenience stores.

The personally curated locations on the map are color-coded by distance from a train station. Green is a short and relatively easy walk. Orange indicates a medium-length walk and/or a bit challenging. Red is either a long walk from a train station or may include some hiking/stairs.
